The 2018 Midwest Green Fleets Forum & Expo will be held on September 24–26 in Columbus, Ohio. According to Sam Spofforth, Executive Director of Clean Fuels Ohio, attendance levels are expected to exceed 300 which will top those of previous years.
“I encourage anyone interested in advanced fuels, vehicle technologies and mobility solutions to take a careful look at our expanded agenda and speakers,” he said. “We’ve put together the strongest regional event of its kind in the country, and the best value in terms of time and dollars invested.”
Spofforth added that the event will help train key personnel on the many options that are currently available in advanced fuels, vehicle technologies and advanced mobility. People will be able to connect with peers to share best practices, solution providers from industry and thought leaders to gain insights into future directions of technologies and policy. He stressed that the objective is for attendees to walk away with tools and connections to identify and implement the best solutions.”
The agenda includes five main components:
- A plenary session featuring thought leaders and recognition of fleet leaders, outstanding technicians, and policy-makers;
- Substantive breakouts organized into three tracks, alternative fuels, transportation electrification and advanced mobility, including four 90-minute sessions in each track;
- Pre-conference trainings designed primarily for fleet organization personnel;
- Dedicated industry expo and vehicle showcase / ride-and-drive time;
- Networking breaks and receptions.
