On 16.09.2018 the historic premiere ride of CORADIA iLINT, the world’s first train using fuel cell technology and hydrogen, took place in Germany. The journey of the train led in the early afternoon from Bremervörde to Selsingen and back. The train was built by ALSTOM in Salzgitter and is operated by evb Eisenbahnen und Verkehrsbetriebe Elbe-Weser GmbH, which has its headquarters in Zeven. The fuel cells and the hydrogen tanks are located on the roof of the train.
