A special congratulations to our stakeholders that were recognized last Friday, 11/30 at the Centralina COG 50th Anniversary Celebration / Region of Excellence Awards Luncheon, for their contributions to the Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition this year. All of their hard work has been noticed, and CCFC looks forward to continuing work with them in the new year.

‘Above and Beyond’ winners were UNC Charlotte, Central Piedmont Community College, Excel Truck Group, Nissan, Duke Energy, Mecklenburg County Air Quality, and Piedmont Natural Gas.
‘Autonomous Vehicle Pioneers’ DOE award went to the Centralina Clean Fuels Coalition.
Outstanding Partner winner was UNCC’s Energy and Infrastructure Production Center.
2018 NC Smart Fleet Champion Award Winners were the City of Charlotte and UNC Charlotte.
2018 NC Smart Fleet Leaders Award winners were Gaston County and Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools.
2018 US DOE CC Hall of Fame Inductee and 2018 Mobile CARE Award winner was Coordinator Jason Wager.
In addition, a special congratulations to Gaston County for their propane fleet initiative that won the Clean Cities award at CCOG’s 50th Anniversary Region of Excellence Awards Luncheon.
