This year, NC hosted the the Natural Gas Vehicle Technology Forum (NGVTF) April 16-17, at the Agility Fuel Solutions Training Center in Salisbury, NC. This meeting is held annually nationwide and was led by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy and the California Energy Commission in the effort to unite a diverse group of stakeholders to discus data and resources concerning technology, regulations, market barriers, and opportunities for next steps for development and deployment of commercially competitive natural gas engines, vehicles, and infrastructure.

It was great to see our fellow NC Clean Cities Coalition partners, Andrea Eilers from Triangle Clean Cities and Chris Dobbins from Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition at the meeting. Centralina coalition staff were glad to support stakeholders Piedmont Natural Gas (now owned by Duke Energy) and Excel Truck Group that were also attendees at the two day annual meeting.
