The pandemic has thrown an unexpected wrench into not only our daily lives but also into the industry we work in. Budgets are suffering, production has slowed or halted altogether and new standards and practices have been implemented. Everyone seems puzzled by the same set of questions: What’s coming next? How do we prepare for the future? Now more than ever people are hunting for answers; we’re hoping to find answers to these questions and more from sponsors of the 2020 Midwest Green Transportation Forum & Expo.

For the first time, Clean Fuels Ohio has decided to bring the Midwest Green Transportation Forum & Expo to the digital space. Instead of being forced to choose between participating and sacrificing the health and safety of your team and those around you, we have come up with a low-cost, low-time commitment, high-value solution for your team. The conference typically runs for two days in Columbus, Ohio. This year, we have lengthened the timeline to two weeks and will provide several hours of content each day. Registrants can find a list of prospective sessions on the agenda page of the conference website.

Clean Fuels Ohio has partnered with event management app developer, Whova, to make the switch to a digital event. Whova has been rated the top networking app by Eventbrite.

“If we were going to go digital, we knew we needed an app that would provide real value to our sponsors and exhibitors,” said Business Development and Communications Manager, Rachel Ellenberger. “We have the ability to offer networking and exposure opportunities that don’t just compare to other event apps, but exceed them.”

There are several tiered sponsorship opportunities with benefits to match. The app allows for a robust set of promotional and business development benefits. Sponsors and exhibitors will work with our event team to create a schedule to not only be included on both our social and owned media leading up to the conference but also be featured on the push notifications through the app that will be regularly scheduled throughout the event. Sponsor logos will be featured on a banner rotating throughout the app. Sponsor logos and company write-ups will be included on the conference website and marketing materials circulated leading up to the conference.

Sponsors and exhibitors will be given a company profile that they can upload their materials to and attendees can interact with. We will be hosting regularly scheduled networking breaks for attendees and sponsors/exhibitors to interact. Exhibit hall tours will be hosted every morning and will feature up to 5 of our exhibitors who will have the chance to explain their products and services. Exhibitors will also have access to the in-app lead retrieval function to better organize post-event outreach. The app will be live for six months after the conference has ended so exhibitors and attendees can continue to take advantage of networking capabilities and recorded versions of all the sessions.

For a complete list of sponsorship opportunities, please refer to the sponsorship page on the conference website. Should you have any questions about the package benefits, please refer to the FAQ page. You can also reach out to Business Development and Communications Manager, Rachel Ellenberger, at rachel@cleanfuelsohio.org with any questions or to secure your spot in the conference today.

“Fully digital conferences have been historically uncharted territory,” says Ellenberger. “We’re excited to take the lead in offering this digital opportunity to our sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees and to see how this will affect the future of regional conferences moving forward.”
