The Clean Fuels Ohio team has officially announced the Transportation Solutions Vehicle Expo which will take place on Oct. 15 on the Columbus State Community College Campus. As part of the Transportation Solutions Showcase series, the team has put together a one day only, in-person program to bring together solutions providers and implementers from around the state.
The Vehicle Expo will include an outdoor vehicle display where the audience can come kick the tires and talk to industry members about the benefits of adopting alternative fuel solutions. Attendees can also participate in educational ride and drives around campus. A variety of vehicles are also being recruited so attendees will have fuel and technology inclusive options and can hear from their drivers about the advantages each fuel and technology type has to offer.
During the Expo, Columbus State Community College will also be hosting a tour of their Center for Automotive Technologies Lab. Columbus State is a key partner in the focus on workforce development in the alternative fuel industry in the state. The tour will give attendees an inside look at the resources available to students and the work Columbus State is doing as a pioneer in training the future generations of technicians.
A number of our projects and partners will be featured at the Expo. Attendees can learn more about Clean Fuels Ohio’s role in some of the U.S. Department of Energy funded projects through our poster sessions we’ll be featuring throughout the venue during the day. They will also learn more about our Ohio Green Fleets program, which certifies fleets that make significant emissions reductions in their operations. Several of our 100+ Green Fleets will be featured in poster sessions during the Expo.
Boxed lunch and refreshments will be provided. Clean Fuels Ohio will adhere to all COVID safety regulations as mandated by the state and Columbus State Community College during the time of the event and will required attendees to abide by all guidelines.
